Just Friends is a 2005 film. Its tagline is "He loves her. She loves him not."
* Both Ryan Reynolds and Amy Smart made appearances in Season 2 of Scrubs and Amy Smart's recurring character in Scrubs was also called Jamie.
* Alanis Morissette, then Reynolds's fiancé, made a cameo as "herself" as a former client of his character. This came about when the casting director said "we need an Alanis Morissette type" and Reynolds suggested he knew someone who would fit that type.
* The film was shot in Los Angeles and parts of Saskatchewan.
* Ryan Reynolds and Anna Faris previously appeared together in the Comedy film Waiting...
* When Anna Faris's character is in the recording studio and starts to play on her guitar you see her playing but there are no notes being heard, just a bunch of muted strings. This is because Anna Faris doesn't really play the guitar therefore she has a muted guitar in the film and the sound is added later. (You can also see her muted guitar in something on the DVD, where she sings her new version of "Forgiveness" and you can hear the muted strings.)
